North American Jesus Christ Superstar Tour Is Abruptly Canceled

Less than 10 days before their first show the North American tour of Jesus Christ Superstar has been abruptly cancelled.

The 50 city tour of Jesus Christ Superstar was to star Incubus lead singer Brandon Boyd (Judas Iscariot), NSYNC’s JC Chaves (Pontius Pilate), former Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams (Mary Magdalene, John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten (King Herrod) and Ben Forster (Jesus). The cast also included Australian Actor / Writer James Millar who was understudying the role of Pontius Pilate.

Matt is a past owner of AussieTheatre, working as digital director from 2011 to 2019. He is also a performer, most recently appeared in the Australian tour of Mamma Mia! and previously in the Australian/NZ tour of CATS and Enda Markey's acclaimed production of Blood Brothers. As well as performing Matt keeps himself busy in the digital side of the arts working with web design agency Emptyhead Digital
