The Melbourne season of Beetlejuice The Musical is one of the performing highlights of my life. The response from Australian audiences was passionate and loud, and what they wanted above all else? An Australia Cast album. So here it is. Beetlejuice The Musical Live At The Regent Theatre. It’s an album that feels like a night at the Regent, with all the laughter, tears, screams, scares and cheers audiences have come to expect. This Australian cast album represents the first recording since the original Broadway Cast Recording released in 2019, which has racked up over 350 million streams globally. I created this album to celebrate the incredible cast, orchestra and crew of Beetlejuice The Musical Australia because I believe our Australian music theatre industry is an under-recognised world-class gem. This album is the first release from Excited Animal Records, a label with a simple goal; to produce more, release more, and advocate for more quality cast recordings of Australian musicals, and to champion the artists and creators who make them.
