The Holiday comes to the big screen with Hans Zimmer’s score performed live by a full orchestra
Live-to-film concert experience touring Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth this Christmas.
One of the world’s most loved Christmas films will be experienced in an entirely new way this festive season when The Holiday in Concert tours Australia.

At each performance, The Holiday will be shown on the big screen while a full concert orchestra performs Hans Zimmer’s original score live, synchronised with the film.
The live music brings the film’s most memorable moments into the room – from the warmth and humour of its opening scenes to the emotion and romance at the heart of the story. Audiences can hear every melody, orchestral detail and musical theme performed as the action unfolds on screen.

Following sold-out performances in London, The Holiday in Concert will tour Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
The Universal Pictures romantic comedy stars Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black. It follows two women living 6,000 miles apart who meet online and impulsively exchange homes for Christmas.
Iris leaves the snow-covered English countryside for Amanda’s home in sunny Los Angeles, while Amanda travels in the opposite direction. Soon after arriving, both women find the last thing either expected – a new romance.
I watched The Holiday with a live orchestra, and it was a magical way to watch a Christmas movie.
For audiences who have made The Holiday part of their annual Christmas traditions, the live-to-film presentation offers a new way to experience the story together. It is as much a concert as it is a film screening, placing Zimmer’s music and the musicians performing is at the centre of the experience.
